In gymnastics there are many things that can go wrong. For example, you can get a rip from the bars doing a simple kip! Then, you could also fall off of the beam, bend your ankle the wrong way, and end up with a fractured ankle. OUCH! One more thing that you could do to yourself in gymnastics is you could fall on the floor after a tumbling pass and break your back or break your arm. Even though there is much pain in this awesome sport, many more good things come from it.

Different Gymnastics Types
There are 5 gymnastics types. One type is artistic gymnastics. You usually see this one on TV. Second, there is rythmic gymnastics. You have to be super flexible for this type. for example, putting your foot in front of your head. Third, there is tramp and tumbling. Fourth, there is acrobatic gymnastics. Lots of strength in that category. Lastly, group gymnastics. A group usually does crazy flips and has crazy flexibility in this one.
